Now.........Here's another way to get another entry.....
With Thanksgiving upon us share one of your fav recipes that you use for your Thanksgiving Feast. Just post it in the comments section and I will give ya another entry. I will then copy all the recipes and share them in a post. Easy Peazy way to get another entry !
I worked on gettin' my blog all dolled up for Thanksgiving. I've also been workin' on a few things that I will share in a post later tonight.Hope ya'll had a safe and fun filled Halloween. My kids are all grown up (the youngest is 16) so we spent the evenin' at home. I went to some TS, Hobby Lobby and that lovely Prim Shop that I mentioned in a previous post. Took my son and his fiance there and to some thrift stores too. Ohhh I gotta share some pictures of their new home. They've been bit by the Prim Bug yahoooo lol

This lil ol' rocker belonged to my sons Great Uncle Larry. It also belonged to Larrys father when he was a child. So it's been in the family for many many years. When Uncle Larry passed away everyone got to pick out an item. My son chose this lil ol' rocker.

Some cute items they picked up at the Covered Bridge Festival. They love goin' to things like that with me.

The bench was an item that was gettin' thrown out at my work. My son saw it and said " I gotta have that Mom, I've got an idea for it" (he took after me well lol) It was a ugly shade of redish brown. He painted it flat black and sanded some of the edges to give it that time worn look. I shoulda got a close up pic. I think it turned out pretty darn good !

This lovely ol' blanket chest Lindsey (my future daughter in law) found at a yard sale on the way to the Covered Bridge Festival for 25 bucks ! They are usin' it as their coffee table. I thought this was our find of the day. I just love love love it ! I'm lovin it that they like the prim decor. Gives me someone to shop with and talk bout prim stuff with lol. And....they both even like to come out n craft with me too !!!

This is Lindsey yesterday all excited to be goin' thrift store shoppin' lol

My oldest son Josh (he's a lil camera shy) on our way into our first stop of the day.

Checkin' out some of the goodies !!!
We had a blast yesterday. Found a few things, not much though. At Hobby Lobby I picked up a few yards of the reproduction 19th century fabrics. I jus' fell in love with them ! Will have to post some pics later of them and of a lil sampler I'm workin' on. Till later my Prim Friends....Don't forget to submit your recipes to get that xtra entry too !

Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 can (16 oz.) pumpkin
3 cups Bisquick
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Blend sugar, egg and pumpkin in large bowl; mix on medium speed.

Gradually beat in Bisquick and spices on low speed.

Pour into a greased bread pan.

Bake 60-70 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Enjoy! (Makes one loaf but can be doubled or tripled. You can easily wrap these in foil and place inside a ziplock bag and freeze for the holidays!)
