~Happy New Year~

Dropping in to wish ya'll a Happy New Year =)
Found this poem that I wanted to share with ya'll....

Dear Lord

Dear Lord, as I close the door on this old year,
I ponder on the things I've done...
on the things I've said and the joys I've had...
then I wonder, have I lost or won?

I've thought of the new friends I have made,
and of the old ones staunch and true...
the path of the old year was made easier Lord,
because I have walked it with You.

I think of all the many times,
when my burdens were so heavy to bear,
and how my faith slipped away from me...
but somehow You were always standing there.

Now as I open the door to this New Year,
and carefully peep inside,
I wonder what it holds for me...
but I'll throw the door open wide

And whatever it brings to me and mine,
I'll meet it with a heart so true...
I know that, Lord whate'er it may be
You'll be there to carry me through.

I never realized when I started blogging that it would lead me to sooooo many talented, kind and warm hearted people who I trully feel I can call friends. I am looking forward to getting to know ya'll better in the New Year. I also want to share more ideas, tips, give aways and my ramblings too (lol) along this blogging journey. I hope to make more time to visit and comment on your blogs more often. I find such inspiration on so many.... It would take most of this post to name them all. My New Year wish for ya'll ........
A healthy and prosperous year
May you find joy in all of lifes moments even the little ones.
May you make many happy memories for the years to come.
May your relationship with God never waiver. Remember he is always there for you. No task is to great or small for him. Cast your burdens to him. He WILL see you through.
May all your dreams and wishes come true.

And I just love this.....

Every new year people make resolutions to change aspects of themselves they believe are negative. A majority of people revert back to how they were before and feel like failures. This year I challenge you to a new resolution. I challenge you to just be yourself.

And that's just what I am going to do ! No New Years resolutions...
I am just going to be plain ol' me.
See I'm even posting another pic of plain ol' me. And ya'll know if you've followed along my bloggin' journey...I HATE self pics..I'm working on it though ;0)

I've almost got my new creatin' space finished. Cannot wait to share it with ya's. I never realized how much craftin' stuff I have till I started unpackin' storage bins. Can't wait till spring cause I am going to declutter ALOT ! Going to have a garage sale and .......oh i'll admit it.....i'm sure i'll use any money made to turn around and buy new goodies lol.....well I will have one with good intentions in mind hehehe....hmmmm that could be funds put back for the Covered Bridge Festival wooooot wooooot ;0)
Oh I also wanted to share with ya'll about my Dr. visit on Monday.
I have ALOT of sleep problems. Mostly due to waking up with pain in my back, legs, hips and neck. Not always all over. Sometimes in one or two areas. I also get fatigued easily and get brain fog ALOT. Sometimes I will be typing a post or having a conversation with someone and the word I was going to use eludes me. I get swelling and pain in my joints, neck and shoulder off and on. Anyway my Dr. did a test and diagnosed me with fibromyalgia. It is such a relief to finally know what is causing my symptoms and a little scary at the same time. I started a new medicine called Savella on Monday and so far it seems to be helping. I know that through faith and prayer God will see me through this pothole in the road. Just as I know he will see Jess through his as well. Jess asked that I let you all know that he is thankful for your thoughts and prayers. His symptoms have improved. Vision is MUCH better ! Just having some trouble with feeling in his arm and hand still. Cannot WAIT till our Dr. appt. Im sure I am probably just being an over protective Mom but......that's how us Moms are when it comes to our babies no matter how old they are.

Here is a pic to share with ya'll of Jess and his cousin Josh

Jess is the tall one. If he gets any taller (he's 6 foot now!) i'm gonna have to get on a step stool justa' hug him lol

Well I better get back to organizing so I can post pics of my lil creating area. Well after I visit a few blogs lol.....
Till next time my Prim friends...

Happy New Year! Thanks for sharing the poem. My prayer in this New Year is that I will know God in a more intimate way, spending more time in His Word and allowing Him to change me more into the image of Jesus Christ.

Glad that you have some answers regarding your health. Hope your meds work and you see real relief.

I really enjoyed the prayer poem - so true for a new year! I love your snowman background!
Praying that the LORD will strengthen you physically too.
Now there's a challenge - to post a pic of myself, I REALLY dislike cameras pointing at me!!
Have a blessed new year

Well TJ, I'm glad you know what is wrong with you so it can be treated. I'm thankful you have a relationship with Christ so you will know that He will carry you through this. I just don't know how people live without the hope and assurance that comes from God. So sad! I will continue to pray for you and your family.

That is the best poem I've read in a long time-- they're both good poems. Thanks for posting them! Love the picture of you! Very good!

I have enjoyed reading your blog these past few months. Thanks for all the tips and inspiration!

Wishing you and your family a blessed and wonderful 2010!
